“Each night*, choose a player: they die. If they had no ability, 1 of their Townsfolk neighbours die too.”
Each night except the first, wake the Pestilence. They point at any player. That player dies - mark them with a DEAD reminder. Put the Pestilence to sleep.
If the chosen player does not have an ability (due to being drunk, poisoned, already dead, or due to another or their own ability) one of their Townsfolk neighbours die too - mark them with a DEAD reminder too.
<aside> 📌 Typically, you can tell when someone does not have an ability because they will be marked with a death shroud, or a ‘Drunk’, ‘Poisoned’, or ‘No Ability’ reminder.
For the purposes of the Pestilence’s ability, the Drunk registers as being drunk, and hence not having an ability.
