“If you die, you might not & the Demon may choose a player tonight: they die.”
If the Knife Thrower would die, you choose if they actually die, or if they remain alive — mark them with the SURVIVED reminder is so.
During that night, wake the Demon. Show them the THIS CHARACTER SELECTED YOU info token, then the Knife Thrower token. The Demon either shakes their head no or points to a player. Put them to sleep. If they chose a player, that player dies – mark them with the DEAD reminder.
<aside> 📌 If, for some bogus reason, the Knife Thrower dies during the first night, you may choose to keep them alive & not wake the Demon. (But also, if you’re playing a script where players can die night 1, what are you even doing?)
