“Each night, choose a player: they must privately answer a riddle correctly or die tomorrow night.”
Each night, wake the Dedalis. They point at any player - mark them with the CHOSEN reminder. Put the Dedalis to sleep. Wake the chosen player and show them the THIS CHARACTER SELECTED YOU info token and the Dedalis token.
During the day, if the chosen player requests a private chat with you, take them away from the circle so you cannot be overheard. Whisper the question or riddle to them. If they don’t give an answer then, they have the rest of the day to request another private chat with you to answer. When they do, ask for confirmation that what they’ve given is their final answer. If correct, mark them with the CORRECT reminder. Otherwise, mark them with the WRONG reminder.
Each night except the first, before you wake the Dedalis, if the previously chosen player has answered incorrectly or not at all, they die - Mark them with the DEAD reminder and add a shroud. Otherwise, nothing happens. Remove all reminder tokens.
<aside> 📌 Note that right and wrong answers are confirmed via death, so be careful about what riddles you give.
You can give trick questions, but if you’re going to do this, let your players know that you might before the game starts to avoid them feeling cheated.
