Summary:
“The good player who is the most correct can’t die.”
The Deacon keeps the right person alive.
- The player who the Storyteller deems is the most correct about the current game cannot die by any means.
- The Storyteller is the judge on who is the most correct. This may be because they are posing more complete worlds, or because they are closer to finding the Demon than anyone else.
- The most correct good player can change at any time, and the Storyteller should use the reminder provided for the Deacon to track this.
How to Run:
At any time, if you believe that a good player is the most correct of all good players, mark them with the CANNOT DIE reminder.
If a player marked CANNOT DIE would die, they remain alive. If a player marked CANNOT DIE is executed, declare that the marked player is executed but remains alive. (Do not say why.)

📖 The Deacon is currently the most correct good player because they believe in the world with the correct in-play evil characters. When they are executed, they do not die.

Tips & Tricks:
- Try to actively solve! You may not have information yourself, but you can still be the most correct if you connect with other players. If you are protected by your own ability, evil will have to discredit or fool you on the final day.
- Sit back and watch. If a powerful Townsfolk is solving the game, you know they won't die. You may even be able to prevent a night of deaths if evil tries killing them.
- Talk to players who survive execution! There's a good chance your ability saved them. If it did, you now know who is best poised to solve the game.
- If there are no deaths tonight, ask why. Consider who was solving yesterday. Put yourself in the Demon’s shoes and ask if they would've been a plausible kill.
- If there are 2 players with competing theories, get 1 executed. If they are saved, they are probably the one who’s right. If not, you learn similar information. Bonus points for the fact that you may kill evil this way, as evil will likely be contradicting good’s worlds.
- Compare the theories of dead players. If any player dies by execution or at night, you know they weren’t the most correct. Talk to them and take a guess about what they got wrong.
Bluffing as the Deacon:
When bluffing as the Deacon, there are a few things to keep in mind:
- Watch who you kill. If a player is claiming Deacon, anyone who dies at night can be ruled out as being most correct. Use this to your advantage by killing players who are correct. Make them doubt their own theories.
- Sink a kill if you have to. You may look suspicious if you're alive while no one has been protected. You also don't have to directly support anyone, since a real Deacon wouldn’t know who they saved.
