Summary:
“You start knowing 1 good & 1 evil character: they are either both in-play or not at all.”
The Cobbler knows a pair of characters that are tied together.
- The Cobbler learns their information on the first night only.
- If a Cobbler is created mid-game, the Cobbler learns their information on their first night.
- The Cobbler either learns 2 characters that are both in-play or 2 characters that are both not-in-play.
- If a character that the Cobbler learned comes in or out of play, they do not wake to learn new information. Nothing happens.
How to Run:
During the first night, wake the Cobbler. Show 1 in-play good character token & 1 in-play evil character token, or 1 not-in-play good character token & 1 not-in-play evil character token. Put the Cobbler to sleep.

Tips & Tricks:
- Get claims from other players! If nobody is claiming the good character you saw, it is possible you learned 2 out-of-play characters.
- Be mindful of players claiming to be the good character you saw. It's entirely possible for you to learn a Demon bluff and an out-of-play evil character.
- Keep track of what evils are in play. If you learned Poisoner, but have heard that a player was Cerenovus mad, this is a reason to believe you learned not-in-play characters.
- Be open about the evil character you saw. Even if the Demon hears you, they won't immediately know who you are confirming.
Bluffing as the Cobbler:
When bluffing as the Cobbler, there are a few things you should keep in mind:
- Make a good player look evil! Claim to see a not-in-play evil character and an in-play good character. This will make it look like a good player is bluffing a role.
- Make an evil player look good! Give a bluff as the good character alongside an in-play evil character. This allows you to falsely confirm your teammates.
- Consider claiming to learn Outsiders instead of Townsfolk. On many scripts, there will be Outsiders who hide for longer than most Townsfolk. This gives you an excuse to draw out your information.
