Summary:
βEach night*, you may choose a player nominated by evil today: they die.β
The Chupacabra kills marked prey.
- Each night except the first, the Chupacabra can choose one of the players nominated by an evil player that day to kill. They may choose to kill no-one.
- If no evil player nominated today, the Chupacabra does not wake.
How to Run:
If an evil player nominates someone, mark the nominee with a PREY reminder.
Each night except the first, wake the Chupacabra. They either shake their head no or point at a player. Put the Chupacabra to sleep. If the Chupacabra chose a player marked PREY, that player dies - mark them with a DEAD reminder. Remove all PREY reminders.

Tips & Tricks:
- Kill every night! So long as you have the nominations to sustain it, your killing power can rival that of the Demon themselves. If the evil team coordinates who they kill around your ability, ripping through the game at twice the speed is a major advantage.
- Don't kill every night! The deaths you cause are potent, but they are also very telling. Sometimes the information you risk giving away won't be worth the kill. A single night of continence can push blame on dead players as the Chupacabra, and disorient which evil characters people think are in play.
- Justify your nominations. If the evil team's nominations are clearly to feed the Chupacabra, your team will likely be obliterated before you can reap the benefits of those extra kills. Make sure your accusations aren't too plausible, though, as you don't want to kill off the players that people think are the Demon.
- Work with your evil team. Try to keep in constant touch with your team, and don't be afraid to be obviously evil if you need to. Every kill you successfully get with the Chupacabra is extremely risky, so it's important to take your time to make every kill count.
Fighting the Chupacabra:
- Watch your nominations. Too many nominations will let the evil team fly under the radar, and minimise the info that the Chupacabra must imply in order to kill. Too few, however, and the eager to nominate evil team might be leading your executions, which is also bad!
- Keep an eye on why players nominate each other. Sometimes they have ulterior motives, like the Town Crier, or Autarch, but keep a fine eye on them. If a player is nominating someone who would be great for the evil team to kill, you might want to kill them first in case they're the Chupacabra.
- Be open about your characters. Compared to other sources of death, the Chupacabra must telegraph their kills strongly, and must publicly justify their desire to kill off powerful characters. Working together is also important, as the Chupacabra places a much riskier timer on the good team, meaning every execution needs to be your best shot at the Demon.
