Summary:
“Each night, choose 2 alive players (not yourself): if one is executed tomorrow, the other is instead.”
The Chariot swaps who is executed.
- Each night, the Chariot chooses two players at once. On the next day, if a chosen player is executed, the other chosen player is executed instead. This can only happen due to an execution, not death by other means such as a Demon or Golem.
- The choice lasts only until the Chariot chooses again, but the Chariot may choose the same players as many times as they want (so long as they’re alive).
- The Chariot must choose alive players and may not choose themself.
- If the Chariot chooses a dead player accidentally, the Storyteller prompts them to choose again.
- If the Chariot cannot viably choose 2 alive players, they do not wake.
How to Run:
Each night, wake the Chariot. They point at any two alive players except themself. Mark the chosen players with RACING reminders. Put the Chariot to sleep.
The next day, if a player marked RACING would be executed, the other player marked RACING is executed instead. (Do not say why.)
Do not wake the Chariot if there are not two players alive to be chosen (due to the Mastermind, Zombuul, etc.).

Tips & Tricks:
- Choose an evil player and a good one. Punish good for trying to kill your allies! Just make sure you don't end up in the crossfire…
- Choose 2 good players. Accuse one of being a Chariot guarding their team! Bonus points for choosing a player you framed and a trusted player.
- Remember that your ability works both ways. If you choose a suspicious good player and an evil player, you may get your allies executed by mistake.
- Choose players who are unlikely to be executed. You can fake being dead if need be. This will also make it easier to spread paranoid about who is Chariot picked.
- Push town to execute away from Demon candidates. Convince them to find the Chariot’s 2nd choice. This is especially effective if you’ve already proven you’re in play.
- Double bluff! If you redirect an execution, protect different players. The town may not try to repeat the execution, fearing that you protected them again.
Fighting the Chariot:
- Think twice before double tapping. The Chariot is not obligated to pick different players each night. Trying to re-execute the target may just give the Chariot another execution.
